Wanderings is a collection of reflections inspired by the world around me.
Sometimes a conversation, a walk in the forest, a book, the lyrics of a song, a painting or sculpture … or a cross-country road trip, will spark a question or reveal a new way of seeing. These moments often arrive unexpectedly, inviting me to pause, pay attention, and explore what lies beneath the surface.
While the content in Stillness page explores the inner landscape through meditation, contemplation, and presence, Wanderings looks outward toward the experiences, places, people, and ideas that shape our lives. Yet the two are not separate. The outer world often reflects something within us, and our inner life influences how we experience the world around us.
Here you'll find personal , observations, stories from daily life, reflections on change and transition, nature, creativity, philosophy, culture, and the many questions that arise while making our way through this human experience.
These writings do not seek to provide answers so much as invitations—to wonder, to question, and to see familiar things from a different perspective.
I hope you'll wander here with me.
Where Are All the Baby Crows?
I found myself wondering how many things in nature are like this. Entire chapters of a life unfolding beyond our awareness. We assume we understand the story because we see the ending, forgetting that most of what shapes a life happens out of sight.
